The Story of Cereals and Bread

One day Miss HilTs class was talking about
foods made from cereal grains.

"How many children eat seeds?" Miss Hill
asked.

The children laughed.

"Only animals eat seeds," said Nancy.

"My bird eats seeds," Jane said.

"I feed corn to my chickens," Bobby said.

"My father talks about corn-fed pigs," said Ted.

"Our horse eats oats," said David.
